Support for Youth who Have Left our Home
NPH Honduras - Childcare (#P-HON-16028)

One of our Hermanas Mayores visiting our Home.

At NPH Honduras, when a young adult leaves our home their relationship with the NPH family does not end there.

The transition to independence can be a challenge for many of our youths (as it is for adolescents anywhere), so our Hermanos Mayores (Big Brothers and Sisters) Department is dedicated to ensuring that all children moving on from our home have the support they need to begin the next phase of their lives.

The program has contact with over 300 former youths that grow up in our home. Through this program, they can receive education support, micro-credits, social and medical assistance and other additional help.

This program is of the utmost importance to our home and NPH family. It provides our youth who left the home a level of security when first starting out, and clearly communicates to our younger children that they will never be abandoned.

Support us to provide helpful assistance that makes the real difference in achieving successful independence for our young adults when they leave our care.
