Photo Essay: Quarantine Can’t Confine Their Faith at NPH Honduras
Despite the protocols of physical distancing resulting from COVID-19, NPH Honduras nurtures the spirituality of the children and youth.
April 16, 2020 - Honduras
Despite many businesses throughout Honduras being closed during Holy Week due to COVID-19, NPH Honduras ensured that children had the opportunity to participate in Easter traditions and practice their faith. Many took the opportunity to pray that the coronavirus crisis ends soon. In order to create a memorable Easter Triduum experience, liturgical activities were divided by casita. The children's homes Madre Teresa and Casa Suyapa, the girl's home Talita Kumi, and the boy's home Buen Pastor each had their own Mass on Holy Thursday. Also, each casita had its own Via Crucis (or Stations of the Cross), Adoration of the Eucharist, and Easter Vigil. Please support our NPH homes during this time of need. Any help you can give is well received and accepted graciously. Please visit nph.org for more information.
