Due to the Coronavirus Pandemic, the International Volunteer Program start date has been postponed to January 2021. We encourage qualified applicants to continue applying, and we look forward to welcoming new volunteers to our homes soon.
The completed application must be submitted in English or Spanish. Once we have received your application, we will acknowledge it within two weeks.
Due to the isolated setting of the NPH homes and the stress of volunteering internationally, we require all volunteers to submit a Health Statement (English | Spanish) completed by a physician. It is important for us to know about an applicant’s health prior to beginning service. This information allows us to make a well-informed decision in the interest of the NPH home and the applicant, as well as helps us to support the volunteer during his or her service at NPH. Volunteers will have access to basic healthcare services on NPH property.
If you live near a fundraising office, they will be made aware of your application and contact you. If you live in a country without an NPH office, the International Volunteer Coordinator will guide you through the application process. Expect the application process to take at least two months.
